back from Kazakhstan…
I’m back from Kazakhstan after teaching a workshop with girlfriend and fellow photographer Carolyn Drake. After our stint in Almaty and Uralsk, we hit the road for a few weeks of traveling. No real project behind the trip, just for the joy of experiencing a new place..

Kids with Cameras
Girlfriend and fellow photographer Carolyn Drake and I recently returned from teaching a photography workshop in Almaty, Kazakhstan. It was in conjunction with the US Embassy and the Children’s Library in Almaty. The kids came from various orphanages around the city, and the project was really about getting them to engage with the outside world [...]
